Presenters offered an overview of their career and incorporated unique personal experiences into their session. This afforded the students the opportunity to see a multifaceted view of a career. They learned the practical aspects of education and preparation for a career, the personal commitment that is required, and the rewards and satisfactions each of these representatives experience in their chosen occupation. Guests, students and faculty were very positive about the Career Day experience. Many students indicated that they acquired very valuable information from these guest speakers. They are very enthusiastic to pursue additional information on the career presentations, which they attended, as well as related careers. Additional career research will be pursued in a Career Program throughout the curriculum.
