Carmody named Wayne Bank senior vice president

HONESDALE Lewis Critelli, president and CEO of Wayne Bank, has announced the promotion of John Carmody to senior vice president. Carmody has been a vice president and commercial loan officer in the commercial lending division since 2004 and has been with the bank for 14 years. Carmody received his MBA from Lehigh University and has a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree from Shippensburg University. In 2000, he graduated from the Pennsylvania Bankers of America Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking. In 2009, Carmody graduated from the American Bankers Association Stonier National Graduate School of Banking. Critelli said, “John is very successful at building strong relationships with our commercial customers and does an excellent job of working through the loan process to provide excellent customer service to the Bank’s commercial clients.” John is a native of Honesdale and resides in Hawley with his wife, Tonia and their two children, Liam and Lilah. Wayne Bank is a subsidiary of Norwood Financial Corp, Member FDIC, serving Wayne, Pike and Monroe counties. The stock trades on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbolNWFL and has Total Assets of $529.7 million as of December 31, 2009.
