Pennsylvania Hawley Sunday, July 4 Fourth of July parade beginning at 2 p.m. in downtown Hawley. Honesdale Saturday, July 3 Live music and kids’ events beginning at 5 p.m. in Central Park. Fireworks at dusk. Lake Wallenpaupack Sunday, July 4 Fireworks over the lake begin at approximately 9 p.m. Seating available at Wallenpaupack Area High School’s bleachers, beginning at 7 p.m. Rain date is Monday, July 5. Milford Sunday, July 4 Living history walking tour of Milford with former Ranger Joseph Blanco. Tour meets at 11 a.m. on the lawn of the Milford Public Library at Harford and Broad streets. Festivities continue through the day with ceremonies including, a reading of the Declaration of Independence and a car show. Stroudsburg Saturday, July 3 Outdoor DJ, magic show, barbecue, food and craft vendors at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. Gates open at 7 p.m., show starts at 9 p.m. $10 per car. New Jersey Augusta Saturday, July 3 Fireworks night at Skylands ball park, 94 Championship Place. 6:30-10 p.m. Baseball game is $12 for box seats and $10.50 for reserved seats, followed by fireworks. Ringwood Sunday, July 4 Reading of the Declaration of Independence at Ringwood Manor, 1-4 p.m. $5 parking. No charge for events with colonial games and toys, colonial crafters, re-enactors, and more, followed by the reading at 2:30 p.m. Free watermelon for visitors. Sparta Sunday, July 4 Parade begins at East Shore Trail at 1 p.m., proceeds up Mohawk Avenue, and ends at the library. Fireworks at 9 p.m. over Lake Mohawk. Vernon Saturday, July 3 Fireworks fundraiser for Highland Lakes and Vernon Fire Departments. 6:30-11:30 p.m. at Lounsberry Hollow School on Sammis Road. $15 per car. West Milford Friday, July 9 Food, games, and entertainment on Jungle Habitat property. Gates open at 6 p.m. Fireworks begin at dusk. The cost is $15 per car. New York Barryville Saturday, July 3 Artists and fine craftspeople exhibit at the Barryville Summer Art Show, corner of state Routes 97 and 55, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Chester Saturday, July 10 Fireworks display at Community Park starts at dusk. Free admission. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Goshen July 3-4 Great American Weekend. All-day activities at Village Square Church Park include live entertainment, antiques, children’s rides, hayrides, and vendors selling arts and crafts, antiques, and food. The Grand Circuit Races will be held at the Goshen Historic Track from July 2 to 5. Admission to the races is $5c children 12 and under will be admitted free. River’s Edge concert will give a concert at the Historic Track at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Adults $10; seniors and students $8; children 6 and under free. Greenwood Lake Saturday, July 3 Fireworks display on the lake at dusk. View the display from Thomas Morahan Waterfront Park or other areas. Sunday, July 4 Parade down Windermere Avenue. Monroe Friday, July 2 Fireworks display at the Mill Ponds. St. vendors start at 6 p.m., followed by fireworks at dusk. Port Jervis Sunday, July 4 Activities at Riverside Park at 3 p.m. Picnic and kids’ games. At 5 p.m. a reading of the Declaration of Independence, followed by a concert by the Tri-State Community Chorus. West Point Saturday, July 3 West Point Band’s Independence Day Celebration at Trophy Point Amphitheater at 7 p.m.. The Concert Band is joined by the Hellcats and Jazz Nights. Fireworks following the concert. Raindate is Sunday, July 4. Free and open to the public. Anyone 16 or older is required to have I.D. White Lake Saturday, July 3 The New York Philharmonic at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Lawn tickets and pavilion seats start at $20 and parking is free. Parking lots open at 6 p.m. for tailgating, doors at 7 p.m., and the performance at 8 p.m., with fireworks immediately following. www.BethelWoodsCenter.org Woodbury Saturday, July 3 Woodbury Firecracker Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Monroe-Woodbury Middle School in Central Valley. The street fair offers vendors, music and a night of entertainment. Fireworks show at dusk will be firing off from the north end of the school fields, with best seating on the south end. Parking will be available at Central Valley Elementary School and the middle and high school parking lots. The Car Show will be located in the Middle School parking lot.
