Cheerleaders wash cars for the United Way
MILFORD The community knows the United Way of Pike County cares about the quality of life of its friends and neighbors and sometimes it means helping them wash that car. On Saturday Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the United Way and Delaware Valley Cheerleaders will be stationed at the Milford Township Building’s county recycle center volunteering to help you wrap up the summer with a clean car. The cost is $5 for cars and $8.00 for SUVs or trucks. Baked goods, bagels, hot dogs and coffee are available while you wait. All proceeds from Saturday’s car wash fundraiser benefit the United Way of Pike County and the local human service agencies it supports. Please stop by, take a break, have a cup of coffee and leave with a clean car knowing you have helped make a difference in your community.
