College holding weekender information sessions

    WESTFALL - Keystone College will conduct three upcoming information sessions for its Delaware Valley Weekender Program during November and December. The information sessions will be conducted from 6 to 8 p.m. on the following evenings: • Tuesday, Nov. 28 at the Comfort Inn, Port Jervis, N.Y. • Tuesday, Dec. 5 at Delaware Valley High School Media Center • Tuesday, Dec. 12 at Settler’s Inn in Hawley Prospective students will learn about course offerings, financial aid, and how to take advantage of Keystone’s special offer for new students of three free credits with the registration of an additional three credit course. The information sessions are free and open to the public. No reservations are necessary. However, anyone who would like more information may call the Keystone College Weekender Program at 570-409-2020. The Keystone College Weekender program enables students to obtain a bachelor’s degree by attending class every third weekend. Students in Keystone’s Delaware Valley program may pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in business or criminal justice by taking classes at Delaware Valley High School in Milford. Beginning in January 2007, courses in education will also be added. The Weekender Program offers residents of Wayne and Pike counties, as well as neighboring communities in New York and New Jersey, an opportunity to advance their careers by attending a highly respected and affordable college and still have time to pursue other important interests in their lives. Keystone College began the Weekender Program in 1975 on its La Plume campus in Lackawanna County. The college has earned the reputation for helping thousands of adults obtain a quality education by attending classes only on weekends.
