Milford - Altec Lansing Technologies again this year will serve as the local mentor for a science and technology program in the Delaware Valley School District. The company’s participation will enable local students with an interest in the sciences to work directly with Altec Lansing engineers. This is the second year that Altec Lansing has provided this sponsorship and commitment of resources. The program, called TechXplore®, is sponsored by the non-profit National Science & Technology Education Partnership (NSTEP), an organization that works closely with the $400 billion high-tech industry to foster excellence in math, science and technology education for middle and high school students and expand the pipeline of U.S. science and technology talent. The goal is to help create a pool of scientists and engineers who will help drive U.S. high-tech industries in the future.
