Construction begins on 434/6 intersection

    GREELEY — PennDOT this week installed barriers along state Route 434 (Well Road), in Blooming Grove where they are beginning a $2.85 million project to relocate and realign approximately 2,500 linear feet of the roadway at its intersection with US Route 6. The work also includes drainage improvements, plus signal, resurfacing and pavement markings. Two lanes will remain open through construction. The contractor, Leeward Construction of Honesdale, is expected to complete the project this fall.
