Crazy cocoons at Shohola

An early project of the 2006-2007 school year went way out of line in Amy Ross’s Shohola first grade class. The first grade students were studying the cycles of caterpillars evolving into butterflies, when something strange happened. Overnight, the caterpillars escaped from their netted cages and cocooned in some strange places. Pictured are some of the cocoons in the chrysalis stage on a soap bottle and the homework box.
