Delaware Valley helps out family at Christmas

WESTFALL - Christmas is a time for giving. Unfortunately, some families find that in today’s financial hard times, it is not easy to provide their children with the kind of Christmas that they would like to give them. Therefore, the Catholic Institute of the Food Industry, working in conjunction with the Delaware Valley High School, has chosen to brighten the holidays for one family in the school district. On Christmas, the family will share a hearty meal and the joy and excitement of receiving and opening gifts. The CIFI donated gift cards for the purchase of the Christmas presents for the children. Special thanks with this project also goes to the Delaware Valley High School Junior Historians, Mr. Tom Burns and to Mr. Ralph Carusillo, for driving from Long Island to Pike County, purchasing the items for the family and making a generous donation.
