Delaware Valley students sponsors bake sale for Katrina's victims

The students at the Delaware Valley High School sponsored a bake sale on Friday, September 9, to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Fifty-eight students volunteered their time and effort, either as workers or bakers, at the sale that was held during the students' lunch periods. The total amount raised from the bake sale was $1,096. Sponsors said that this is just one of many events that Delaware Valley will host to do its "part in assisting those who need support in our nation. "
