Developers donate golf carts to PEEC
DINGMANS FERRY - The staff at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (P.E.E.C.) are now able to move around campus in style thanks to the donation of four golf carts from Penn Regional Development Company. The company is an affiliate of LTS Builders and recently purchased Mountain Manor Golf Club in Marshalls Creek. Larry Simon, Chairman and CEO of LTS Builders and Penn Regional Development Company stated, “We are pleased to present four golf carts to the Pocono Environmental Education Center to assist the Center in making its valuable facilities more easily accessible to visitors of all ages.” The carts are valued at $12,000 and Penn Regional recently painted the carts green and white to match the center’s colors and added PEEC’s logo and Penn Regional’s logo on the front of the carts. The center’s Executive Director/CEO Jim Rienhardt said, “We are grateful to Penn Regional Development Company for this generous donation.
