Dime Bank names new vice president for marketing

HONESDALE The Dime Bank has promoted Deborah Unflat to the rank of vice president, according to Gary C. Beilman, president and chief executive officer. Deborah Unflat joined The Dime Bank as marketing manager in 2000. In 2005 she was elevated to the position of assistant vice president of the Marketing Department. Unflat has the responsibility of formulating and implementing the bank’s overall marketing plan. The Dime Bank President Beilman stated, “We are thrilled about Deb’s promotion. Her insight and creativity, together with her dedication to true customer service are superb. Deb’s efforts have been major contributing factors to our bank’s growth and success.” Unflat graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and International Business. She is also an honors graduate of the PBA Central Atlantic School of Banking, the ABA School of Bank Marketing and Management, and the Leadership Pike Program. Additionally, Unflat is a member of the Hawley Rotary Club, the Downtown Hawley Partnership Marketing Committee, the Leadership Pike Steering Committee, the Hawley Winterfest Committee, the Black Bear Conservatory of Music, the Queen of Peace RC Church, and a tutor for the Wayne-Pike Adult Literacy Program.
