Dispositions in Pike County Court
Milford Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen on June 11. Thomas H. Dailey, 49, of Port Jervis, N.Y., was sentenced to pay a fine of $500, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of six months to one year and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of six months for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance. On Aug. 1, 2008, Dailey was in possession of Vicodin while not licensed or privileged to do so. Zachary John Gogolen, 29, of Matamoras, was sentenced to pay a fine of $400, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of one to 18 months and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of one year for the crime of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer. On Dec. 13, 2008, during a traffic stop, Gogolen fled police on Interstate 84 at a high rate of speed, nearly striking a tractor trailer while being pursued. At the time of the traffic stop, it was discovered that Gogolen’s license and registration were suspended. Katherine Ann Petinko, 29, of Milford, was sentenced to pay a fine of $1,000, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for 30 days to six months and have her driving privileges suspended for one year for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On Nov. 27, 2008, Petinko was involved in a car accident when she lost control of her vehicle and struck an embankment. Her blood alcohol content was .151%. Ryan Joseph Weller, 20, of Union, N.J., was sentenced to pay a fine of $300 along with 12 months probation and suspension of his driving privileges for six months for the crime of Possession of Controlled or Counterfeit Substance. On May 24, 2008, Weller, while operating an unregistered Yamaha dirt bike on SR 507 and without a protective helmet, was found to be in possession of 10.0 grams of Mushrooms and less than 30 grams of Marihuana along with a metal smoking pipe. Serguei Boulanov, 21, of Deland, Fla., was sentenced to pay a fine of $1,000 and be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for the period of 72 hours to six months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On Aug. 17, 2008, Boulanov was arrested for driving under the influence and refused to consent to a chemical test to determine the alcohol concentration in his blood or breath. Gustave Anthony Sukhdeo, 19, of Bushkill, was sentenced to pay a fine of $500, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of 30 days to 12 months and be given credit for 30 days time served for the crime of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Theft. On March 15, 2009, Sukhdeo and his co-conspirator, Larry White, unlawfully took jewelry and a watch belonging to Tammie and Chelsey Bartro valued at approximately $950. Peter Robert O’Rourke, 42, of Greeley, was sentenced to pay a fine of $1,000,be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for the period of 48 hours to six months and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On Sept. 28, 2008, O’Rourke was arrested for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .111% John Bowman, 34, of Bushkill, was sentenced to pay a fine of $500 and be incarcerated in a State Correctional Facility for the period of 15 months to five years for the crime of Failure to Comply with Registration of a Sexual Offender. Bowman, a registered sex offender, failed to appear to be photographed, within the required time period, and present himself to the State Police for registration.
