    MILFORD — Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences which were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen on June 18: Pamela A. Ulrichs 39, of Huguenot, N.Y., was sentenced to pay a fine of $700 be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of six to 12 months followed by one year probation with supervision being transferred to New York for the crimes of Endangering the Welfare of Children, Resisting Arrest or Other Law Enforcement and Harassment. On Sept. 25, 2008, Ulrichs struck a child with a closed fist and threatened to kill her with a knife. Ulrichs attempted to prevent the police from effecting a lawful arrest and had to be physically removed from the customer service area at Wal-Mart. Heather Nicolle Collins 22, of Bushkill, was sentenced to pay a fine of $300 be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of two to 18 months and attend anger management counseling for the crime of Simple Assault. On Oct. 13, 2008, Collins caused bodily injury to a seven-year-old girl by punching her in the face. Joseph Michael Wilson 24, of Sparrowbush, N.Y., was sentenced to pay a fine of $1,500 be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of 90 days to five years and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On November 23, 2008, Wilson was arrested for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .209%. Derek Scott Ogonowski 20, of Hewitt, N.J., was sentenced to pay a fine of $500 be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of two to 12 months and be given credit for time served since Jan. 20 for the crime of Retail Theft. On Jan. 20, Ogonowski removed a Sanyo camera from Wal-Mart having a value of $89.84. Paul Howard Strope, Jr., 20, of Shohola, was sentenced to pay a fine of $1,000 be incarcerated in a State Correctional Facility for a period of 14 months to five years and be given credit for time served since Apr. 16, 2008 for the crime of two counts of Criminal Trespass. On Apr. 15 and Apr. 16, 2008, Strope entered the victim’s residence by using a garage door opener from a parked vehicle to open the door to the residence. James S. Lindsley 27, of Godeffroy N.Y., was sentenced to pay a fine of $700 be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of five months to one year and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of two years for the crimes of Possession of a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked. On Nov. 6, 2008, Lindsley was arrested for being in possession of Heroin and for operating a motor vehicle while his operating privileges were suspended. William Jack Braxton, 59, of Lake Ariel, was sentenced to pay a fine of $500 be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of seven days to six months and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On May 25, 2008, Braxton was arrested for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .111%. Stacey Marie Cambria 40, of West Nyack, N.Y., was sentenced to pay a fine of $2,000 ordered to pay restitution and was sentenced to 3 years probation with supervision transferred to another county for the crime of four counts of Forgery. On Oct. 23, Oct. 27, and Oct. 30, 2006, Cambria, without the knowledge of the victim, forged checks to purchase items at a local pharmacy. Joseph Lavoire 43, an inmate in the Pike County Correctional Facility, was sentenced to pay a fine of $500 be incarcerated in a State Correctional Facility for a period of 12 months to two years, consecutive to a prior conviction, for a total period of incarceration of two years to seven years, for the crime of Simple Assault. On Aug 4, 2007, while incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility, Lavoire bit Sergeant Hugo DeMarco in the arm/elbow causing injury which required medical treatment.
