    MILFORD — Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin reports that the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen on May 28: Carl Arnold, 59, of Dingmans Ferry, was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 90 days to five years, pay a fine of $1,675 and had his drivers license suspended for 18 months for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, Duty to Give Information and Render Aid, and Disorderly Conduct. On July 18, 2008, Arnold was involved in a car accident, and failed to stay at the scene, when he was arrested he struggled with police. His blood alcohol content was .16%. Kaleigh Olenick, 19, of Port Jervis, NY, was sentenced to 18 months of probation and pay a fine of $150 for the crime of False Identification to Law Enforcement. On Oct. 2, 2008, Olenick used a false name when she was arrested for underage drinking. John Basham, 37, of Matamoras, was sentenced to Pike County Jail for three - 12 months, and pay a fine of $825 for the crimes of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and several traffic violations. On Oct. 25, 2008, Basham drove his vehicle into parked car. Police found Basham in possession of a silver smoking pipe used for smoking Marihuana. David Senysyn, 40, of Sparrowbush, N.Y., was sentenced to Pike County Jail for 30 days to 12 months, pay a fine of $300 and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $60 for the crime of Theft by Unlawful Taking. On Oct. 21, 2008, Senysyn took $60 worth of gasoline from a U-Haul truck in Westfall Township. These criminal sentences were issued by Judge Kameen on June 3: Ian Rosenberg, 43, of Hawley, was sentenced to a state correctional facility for three to six years, pay a fine of $1,000 and ordered to pay restitution for the crimes of Identity Theft, Bad Check, Insurance Fraud and two counts of Forgery. On Jan. 1, 2008 and Feb. 12, 2008, Rosenberg, used the victims credit card to pay for his bills. Rosenberg also forged the signature of the victim on two checks. On Dec. 12, 2007, Rosenberg was in an accident and reported the accident happened on a different day so his vehicle would be insured. Robert Manter, 41, of Albrightsville, was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for one month and 90 days to six months followed by six months of probation, pay a fine of $1,100 and had his drivers license suspended for one year for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, False Identification to Law Enforcement, and Driving Under License Suspension. On Jan. 4, 2007, Manter, was pulled over in Greene Township and gave a false license to State Police. His blood alcohol content was .98%. Thomas Nicholas, 20, of Butler, N.J. was sentenced to a state correctional facility for one to five years, and pay a fine of $500 for the crime of Retail Theft. On Jan. 20, 2009, Nicholas did enter the Wal-Mart in Westfall Township tried to leave with $219.68 worth of merchandise but was stopped at the exit. Dorthea Gunderman, 43, of Dingmans Ferry, was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 72 hours to six months, pay a fine of $1,025 and had her drivers license suspended for one year for the crime of Driving Under the Influence and Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. On Nov. 2, 2008 Gunderman, was pulled over in Delaware Township for straddling the yellow double line. Her blood alcohol content was .190% Keith Candelet, 23, of Philadelphia, was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 72 hours to six months plus 12 months of probation, pay a fine of $2,200 and had his drivers license suspended for one year for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, Driving while Operating Privileges are Suspended or Revoked, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. On Oct. 28, 2008 Candelet was operating his truck under the influence of drugs while his license was suspended. While at the state police barracks Candelet became physically aggressive and refused cooperate with a state police trooper Timothy Stefanik, 19, of Milford, was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 48 hours to six months, pay a fine of $1,000 and had his drivers license suspended for one year for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On July 3, 2008, Stefanik drove his vehicle off the road in Dingmans Township. His blood alcohol content was .137%.
