Dispositions in the Pike County Court
of Judge Joseph Kameen MILFORD On Nov. 6, those defendants who earlier entered guilty pleas and were sentenced included: Michael Husson, 41, of Dingmans Ferry for an Oct. 2007 charge of driving under the influence in Delaware, was fined $1,000, lost his license for one year, and was sentenced to three days to six months in the Pike County Jail. Michael Smith, 28, of Bushkill, for a March 2008 charge of driving under the influence in Lehman, was fined $1,000, lost his license for one year, and was sentenced to four days to six months in the Pike County Jail. George Gus Kosta III, 25, of Baltimore, Md.,for a Nov. 2007 charge of failing to comply with sexual offender registration requirements in Blooming Grove, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to two to four years in the Pike County Jail. Nancy Edwards, 41, of Port Jervis, N.Y., for March 2008 charges of retail theft in Westfall, was fined $200, ordered to make restitution and sentenced to one year on probation. Daniel Hosek, 18, of Dingmans Ferry, for April and May charges including theft and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia in Delaware and Westfall, was fined $1,000, ordered to make restitution and sentenced to 18 months on probation. John Joray, 20, of Shohola, for a March 2008 charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in Westfall, was fined $200 and sentenced to one year on probation. Christopher McLauglin of Port Jervis, for a March 2008 charge of retail theft in Westfall, was fined $500, and sentenced to nine to 36 months in the Pike County Jail. Tommy Caton, 51, of Hawley, for Jan. 2008 charges including driving under the influence and possession of a small amount of marijuana in Blooming Grove, was fined $1,700, lost his license for 18 months, and sentenced to nine months to five years in the Pike County Jail. Matthew Lange, 22, of Nanticoke for June 2006 charges including burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary in Lehman, was fined $600, ordered to make restitution and sentenced to 16 months to five years in state prison. Lisa Gorman, 45, of Greentown, for a Dec. 2007 charge of disorderly conduct in Greene, was fined $200 and sentenced to one year on probation. William DeRosa, 38, of Port Jervis, for May 2007 charges of theft and passing a bad check in Matamoras and Westfall, was fined $500, ordered to make restitution and sentenced to four to 23.5 months on probation. Clifford Carr, 21, of Matamoras, for an Apr. 2008 charge of retail theft in Westfall, was fined $500, and sentenced to two to 18 months in the Pike County Jail. Elias Thibodeaux, 35, of Port Jervis, for an Apr. 2008 charge of retail theft in Westfall, was fined $500, and sentenced to serve two to four months in the Pike County Jail.
