Milford On Nov. 1, defendants who earlier entered guilty pleas and were sentenced included: John Burmeister, no age given, of Alexandria, Minn., for March, 2007 charges including possession of controlled substances with intent to manufacture, in Blooming Grove, was fined $1,000, lost his drivers license for six months and was sentenced to serve nine months to two years in state prison. Brandon Northrup, no age given, of Jefferson, Maine; for a March 2007 charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in Blooming Grove, was fined $600 and sentenced to serve one to three months in the Pike County Jail. Laura McGeeney, no age given, of Greentown, for an Apr. 2007 charge of criminal conspiracy to deliver controlled substances in Greene, was fined $600 and sentenced to serve one month to one year in the Pike County Jail.
