    MILFORD — Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen on Apr. 30. Richard Kraweic, 23, of Scranton, was sentenced to 12 months to 4 years and 11 months, pay a fine of $ 1,500.00 and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $4,801.19 for the crimes of Forgery, Theft by Deception and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. From June 7, 2008 to August 11, 2008 Kraweic did obtain property valued at $5,373.01 from Gumble Brothers in Palmyra Township when he represented himself as an employee of LMR Construction. On July 26, 2008, on state Route 507 in Green Township Kraweic was stopped and found in possession of drug paraphernalia, that being a syringe. Jeffery Britton, 46, of Bushkill, was sentenced to 12 months probation, a fine of $500.00, restitution in the amount of $4,823.38 for the crime of Reckless Endangerment to Another Person. On June 20, 2008, Britton struck an occupied vehicle with his vehicle a 2000 Ford F350. Christopher Sullivan, 23, of Dingmans Ferry, was sentenced to Pike County Jail for 72 hours to six months, pay a fine of $1,200, followed by 12 months of probation, and had his drivers license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence, and Resisting Arrest. On Oct. 26, 2008, Sullivan was pulled over on Broad Street in Milford Borough, where he refused to consent to a chemical test. Sullivan resisted arrest while being arrested for Driving Under the Influence. Russell Boyer, 36, of Greeley, was sentenced to Pike County Jail for 10 to 23 months, pay a fine of $ 1,000, and had his drivers license suspended for six months for the crime of Possession with Intent to manufacture or Deliver. On May 17, 2007, Boyer arranged for the sale of 10 bags of heroin with an undercover law enforcement officer for $180 at the Sunoco Station in Milford Borough. Justin Hebelka, 28, of Port Jervis, N.Y. was sentenced to Pike County Jail for 30 days to 6 months, pay a fine of $1,000, had his license suspended for one year for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On Sept. 9, 2008, Hebelka was pulled over on Pennsylvania Avenue in Matamoras Borough. Hebelka’s blood alcohol content was .149%. Caroline Cruz, 48, of Shohola, was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for three days to one year and six months, pay a fine of $1,700 and had her driver’s license suspended for one year for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. On Apr. 2, 2007, Cruz, with an eleven year old passenger did drive her vehicle off the road on Twin Lakes Road in Shohola Township. Cruz had a blood alcohol content of .159%. George Sanford, 24, of Greeley, was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for nine months to three years, pay of fine of $500 and pay restitution in the amount of $750 for the crime of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Robbery. On June 12, 2008, Sanford did agree with Daniel Adsit, and Joseph Scurto to enter a home and forcefully remove money from the victim. Joshua Jenkins, 30, of Murfreesboro, Tenn. was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 12 months to five years, pay a fine of $2,900, had his driver license suspended for 18 months and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $369.94 for the crime of Driving Under the Influence, Illegally Operating a Motor Vehicle not Equipped with Ignition Interlock, and Criminal Mischief. On Nov. 1, 2008, Jenkins was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and refused to submit to a chemical test, he then fell onto an Eastern Pike Regional Police car causing damage. Kenneth Defebo, 23, of Greentown, was sentenced to probation for one year a fine of $ 600, and had his driver’s license suspended for one year for the crimes of Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving while Operating Privileges are revoked. On Nov. 3, 2008 Defebo was pulled over and found in possession of two hypodermic needles, and a glass pipe. Defebo did also operate his vehicle while his license was under suspension. Christopher Mackerly, 23, of Sussex, N.J. was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for six to 12 months, and pay a fine of $500 for the crime of Simple Assault- mutual combat. On Oct. 16, 2007 in the Pike County Jail, Mackerly did engage in a fight with another inmate and struck the victim with a tray causing the victim to fall and break his leg.
