Draft county master plan now available for review online

MILFORD - After two years of preparation a draft of the county’s new comprehensive plan is available for public review on line, Pike planner Mike Mrozinski said Monday. While it carries no force of law, the plan provides a basis for local government zoning updates and land use management. Recommendations are contained in the first 45 pages and much of the bulk of the plan is devoted to appendices. An 18-page executive summary is also available online at www.pikepa.org The county will accept comments on the plan through Aug. 18. A public hearing and final approval are expected by September.
