DV grad heads college TV station

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Class of 2007 Delaware Valley graduate Ryan Balton was elected general manager of CitrusTV in November. Serving Syracuse University, CitrusTV is the nation’s oldest and largest entirely student-run TV station. A junior at Syracuse University, Balton is dual majoring in education policy studies and television, radio and film, as well as being a former candidate for the Delaware Valley Board of Education. Balton will serve in the station’s top leadership spot through the fall 2010 semester. He has served on the station’s executive staff as Web media director for a year and a half.
