Egg hunters out by the score over the holiday weekend At the Dingman hunt in Ann Street Park Some 300 to 400 children of all ages hunted over 3,000 rainbow colored eggs at the Dingman Township Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3, in the Ann Steet Park in Milford. The Easter Bunny was very busy taking pictures in the gazebo while hunters exchanged the plastic eggs for a bag of Easter candy. Smiley- faced eggs were hidden in all age group sections and could be turned in for large prize baskets. At the Lumberyard Shops Approximately 100 children enjoyed hunting 600 eggs which the owner of the Lumberyard Shops complex Erik Casola and all shop owners helped to organize in Milford Saturday afternoon. “The hunt is in its fourth year and I expect to add two hundred more eggs to keep up with demand,” said Casola. Matamoras’ 41st annual egg hunt At 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Airport Park in Matamoras, about 400 children participated in the holiday festivities hosted by Matamoras Recreation and the Keystone Community Club. Visitors participated in activities such as face painting, a bean bag toss, a coloring station and a jelly bean jar count contest. The Easter Bunny arrived on the Matamoras fire truck while the Easter Duck welcomed the children into the egg hunting area.
