February does its wintery worst

Cars traveling south on Milford Road, near Cliff Park, found sections of the road impassable Tuesday night as vehicles got stuck in the snow. One motorist said it took an hour to travel 4 miles between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. If you were out in it, you already know about the eight to 10-inch snowfall and the mashed potato road surfaces; and if you stayed home you know about the spot power outages as heavily weighted tree limbs gave way. PennDOT on Wednesday was warning of bigger and better things to come, heavy snow and winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour all coming our way today. Three weeks until spring.
