February is dental health month

On Feb. 4 and 5, preschoolers from St. Vincent de-Paul Pre-School visited the offices of local Pediatric Dentist Dr. Noor A. Shamim on Broad Street. They were accompanied by teachers and parents. Dr. Shamim’s dental hygienist, Nadena Nykaza, and Allyn Mancuso gave the children a tour of the office, and they watched a video about going to the dentist for the first time. The children also learned the importance of brushing, flossing, and good oral hygiene and nutrition.
