Films and Grey Towers make perfect duo

Black Bear Festival’s Envirofest and Grey Towers National Historic Site MILFORD In keeping with the Black Bear Film Festival’s (BBFF) missionto support innovative and independent films while recognizing Pike County’s history as the birthplace of the American conservation movementBBFF presents the free Envirofest, this year co-sponsored by Grey Towers Heritage Association and located at Grey Towers National Historic Site, in Milford. On Sunday, Oct, 14 during the eighth annual Black Bear Film Festival, Envirofest will host a smorgasbord of environmentally-focused films and talks in three venues on the grounds of Grey Towers: The Pool, The Letter Box and The Bait Box. No tickets or reservations are required. Regional conservation organizations will be in attendance with informational booths to educate and enlighten audiences on the current conditions of the natural world. A free trolley will be available all day to shuttle filmgoers between BBFF’s main venue the Milford Theatre in downtown Milford and Envirofest at Grey Towers. Environmental film enthusiasts not attending BBFF’s main venue movies may use Grey Towers’ free parking area. No reservations or tickets are needed for Envirofest. There is no charge to attend.
