    MILFORD – Have your ever wondered who is really in your past? Would you like to trace your family tree, but don’t know where to start? Looking up your family history has is just a click away at Pike County Public Library. HeritageQuest and Ancestry Library Edition, two popular genealogy databases, are part of the library’s online database offerings, thanks to the Scranton District Library, which is providing these resources to Pike County residents free of charge. HeritageQuest is an easy-to-use dabatase available at the library or by remote access from your home or any other computer. It features U.S. Census records from 1790-1930 as well as many primary source documents such that will facilitate genealogical researching. Ancestry Library Edition is available only at the library. It features a collection of over two billion names with extensive information from the United States and United Kingdom including census, church, court, immigration and vital records. This database is for beginner and experienced researchers of history and family history.
