MILFORD Pike County District Attorney Raymond Tonkin announced that Betty Ann Longyhore, age 47, of Hawley was sentenced to a total of four years and six months to nine years in a state prison. Longyhore had previously pleaded guilty to Arson Endangering Firefighters, and Insurance Fraud, both felonies. Longyhore pleaded guilty to setting fire to her home, located in the Skytop Trailer Park in April of 2008. The Tafton Fire Department responded to the scene but the trailer was a total loss. Longyhore submitted a false claim to Nationwide Insurance Company and attempted to collect an insurance settlement. The case was prosecuted by the Pike County District Attorney Raymond Tonkin.
