Four charged in burglary spree
Middletown, N.Y. State police in Middletown have arrested four people in connection with a rash of burglaries in western Orange County, N.Y., which includes the towns of Wallkill, Minisink, Greenville, Deerpark and Warwick. During the past two months, state police have investigated numerous daytime burglaries in which jewelry, laptop computers and flat screen televisions were taken. Three individuals - Edward Sheskier, 31, of Middletown, Danielle Winter, 36, of Port Jervis, and Thomas DeGroat, 23, of Middletown were charged with numerous counts of second-degree burglary, a class C felony, and criminal possession of stolen property. A fourth suspect, David Cole, 46, of Port Jervis, was charged of criminal possession of stolen property. The subjects have also been linked to burglaries in Ulster County and in Pike County.
