Eastern Pike Regional Police detained four youths Wednesday afternoon and impounded their car. At approximately 3:30 p.m. on July 14, the police stopped their vehicle on Reuben Bell Drive in Matamoras for an overly loud muffler. The motor vehicle violation warranted a search of the car, which Chief Chad Stewart said uncovered an undetermined amount of narcotics. The two males and two females, all of whom were under 18, were detained by police. No additional information was available as The Courier went to press. Photo by Alicia Lopez
