PORT JERVIS - Preston is a one year-old altered male labrador retriever/pit bull terrier mix. He is black with white on his chest. He knows “sit” and likes to visit the neighbors so a fenced yard would be perfect for this handsome fellow. He keeps his kennel clean at the shelter. Bones has captivating green eyes. He is a 3 year old grey altered male with medium length tabby and white fur. Bones is on the large size and enjoys being petted. He would like a home without dogs. Bone’s owners have to move without him. They said he is housebroken. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please call or visit the Humane Society of Deerpark/Port Jervis at 202 Rt. 209 North Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or Sunday. 1 to 3 p.m. The shelter is closed Mondays.
