Friends in need of homes
MILFORD These and other pets are available at the Pike County Humane Society. Sadie: Divorce left this sweet, lovable and super friendly 4 year old without a home, something she seems to miss. Surprisingly calm for a Jack Russell, sweet Sadie is very well-mannered, crate and leash trained, housebroken and affectionate - and will happily wiggle her little tail when she gets a loving look or pat. While she gets along with other dogs, a cat-free home would be best. Come and give her a snuggle which she will be happy to receive and return -- and let her follow you home. Skeeter: A super cute and incredibly friendly one year old Mountain Feist, Skeeter is a high-spirited yet very lovable 30-pound guy who will thrive in a home that provides the playtime, daily long walks, jogs or hunting activities his peppy personality needs. Affectionate and already learning to sit, and good leash and crate behavior, he will be fantastic with a family able to devote the consistent, calm positive training of a good pack leader - the loving attention that will make him a remarkable well-behaved household member and truly devoted companion. As a terrier type bred for hunting small game, will not do well in a household with small critters or left running loose outdoors. Surrendered because of his family’s medical problems, he needs another chance to prove what a great guy he can be. Come meet him and give him a chance to be your best ever pet. Cuddles: A one-year-young gray and white domestic short-haired buddy, Cuddles has all his shots, is healthy, neutered and ready to move into the arms of a loving new family. Soft and cuddly, he’s very friendly and affectionate, and gets along fine with other cats. Your donation in lieu of an adoption fee will let you take this babe home.
