MILFORD — Jayden is a really cute lookin’ two-year-old Pekinese guy with a sweet and friendly personality, Jayden gets along with everyone who comes his way, including other similarly-sized dogs. Turned in by an owner who could not take him along when they moved, he is housebroken, happy, good on a leash and an overall gentle and playful guy. A sort-of-small, medium-sized white wired-haired terrier mix guy, Lobo is a peppy two-year old fella rescued from a cruelty situation — and he’s ready to have a second chance in a loving new home where his playful personality and cute good looks will bring happy and affectionate fun times to everyone in the household. Baby was abandoned by her owner for unknown reasons. This sweet and well behaved five-year-old collie mix is good with the other dogs at the shelter and visitors as well - happily greeting and hanging out with adults and kids like. At a healthy fully-grown 40 pounds she is very friendly, easy to handle and attentive to commands promising to be a good girl in a loving new home. Awesome is a 3-year-old pit bull who came in as a stray and has been socializing at the shelter getting to know and get along with shelter visitors and the other shelter dogs. While he meets everyone with a friendly greeting, he would be best suited to a home with no small children and no cats. Healthy and playful, he enjoys romps around the yard and simply “hanging out” around the office. The Pike County Humane Society will be at Walmart this coming Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a bake sale and adoptable pets.
