Healing hands are ready to paint Pike purple

    Milford — As part of Safe Haven’s Paint Pike Purple campaign in October to raise public awareness of domestic violence and to promote peace in our communities, many of our area’s spas, beauty salons, and other businesses are participating in Healing Hands days. These are special days and times when you, the members of our community, can receive services such as a massage, a haircut, a manicure, a meditation class or a Pilates class by giving a donation that will go to Safe Haven to support its services. The October schedule is as follows: Oct. 29: Spiritual Journeys, 149 Sawkill Ave, Upper Mill, Milford Healing Meditation Class from 6:30-8 p.m. Oct. 11, 18 & 25: Bodies in Balance, US Route 209/6, Milford, Pilates class, 10 a.m. Oct. 21: Enchantment at TLC Salon, 801 Broad St., Milford, manicure and/or pedicure, 9-12 a.m. Oct. 10: 2nd Street Salon, 401 East Broad St, Milford, haircut or manicure, 1-4 p.m. Oct. 14 & 15: Serenity is a Way of Life, 4B Fenical Lane, Milford Road, across from Caesar’s Palace, East Stroudsburg, Healing Meditations class beginning at 1 p.m. Oct. 15 & 29: Simple Kneads, 613A West Harford St., from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Massage Oct. 22: DeeZigns Salon, 678 state Route 739, Lords Valley, 9-6 Massage Please call each business to make an appointment.
