High school's Students of the Month

The Delaware Valley High School’s October students and athletes of the month include: in back from the left: Christopher Maslin, Achievement Award, grade 11, son of Laurence and Heidi Maslin of Dingman’s Ferry; Hector Vazquez-Aguilar, Student of the Month, grade 11, son of Lili and Hector Vazquez of Milford; Nicholas Troiano, Student of the Month, grade 12, son of Denise and Louis Troiano of Milford; Ian Sumner, Athlete of the Month, grade 12, son of Susan and Hunter Sumner of Dingman’s Ferry. In front, from the left: are Caitlin Anderson, Student of the Month, grade 9, daughter of Sharon and John Anderson of Milford; Derek Houseknecht, Student of the Month, grade 10, son of Eve and Pete Houseknecht of Milford; and Taylor Crawford, Athlete of the Month, grade 12, daughter of Bridget and Andrew Crawford of Matamoras. Stephanie Everson, grade 12, was selected as the Vo-Tech Student of the Month, but she was not present for the photograph. She is the daughter of Cynthia and Richard Everson of Milford. The Students and Athletes of the Month each received a Delaware Valley T-shirt from the principal and their names will be displayed on the school announcement board during the month of November. Students, who do not yet possess a school Gold Card, also received one. This card entitles students to attend most school events free of charge. (Contributed photo)
