Historic inn condemned

One of Milford’s best known landmarks, the Tom Quick Inn was posted as condemned last week. The order came after months of court wrangling with foreclosed owner Abraham Wohl. Tenants and a barber still occupy some of the more habitable spaces. Squatters have vandalized other portions of the once luxurious interior and bags of garbage and uncollected mail can be found in the hallways. Wohl had been given until Dec. 21 to repair the failed electrical wiring. The building was posted by the borough after he failed to meet the deadline. (Photos by David Hulse)
