Homicide reported at camp

LACKAWAXEN — State police at Blooming Grove are investigating a stabbing death at Camp Chayoiel Hamelech, off Masthope Plank Road in Lackawaxen Township. On July 15, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the body of an unidentified male was found in a cabin at the camp. The victim died from an apparent stab wound. The deceased man was described as a 50 year-old white male, possibly of Eastern European descent. At press time, state police have had no further comment about the ongoing investigation.
