It's pear blossom time

The borough’s flowering pear trees herald this weekend’s sixth annual Pear Blossom Festival. Festivities begin Saturday morning at the Ann Street Memorial Park and include a 1 p.m. parade down Broad Street. The festival highlights a weekend calendar filled with activities around the area. There will be a Civil War weekend at the Columns Museum as well as Earth Day celebrations. (Photo by David Hulse)
