Leadership Pike tours Pike County

MILFORD The third class of Leadership Pike recently toured parts of Pike County. The class stopped by Woodloch Pines & Springs, one of the biggest employers in Pike County, and the Shohola Historical & Railroad Society’s Caboose Museum in Shohola. Other interesting stops included the Promised Land Lake Beach, the Pike County Business Park, Roebling Bridge and the Lackawaxen River. Earlier in the day, Joe Blanco met with Leadership Pike students to discuss meeting management techniques. The students learned how to run better meetings by focusing on elements of effective meetings, how to prepare an agenda and how to empower all meeting attendees to participate to the fullest. Leadership Pike is a collaborative effort between Pike County Chamber of Commerce, Northampton Community College and Penn State University Cooperative Extension.
