Local dog club wins state-wide award

SHOHOLA - The Tri-State Dog Obedience Club has received an award from the Pennsylvania Federation of Dog Clubs for producing an outstanding monthly club newsletter. Presented during the club’s annual Nancy Kehlhem Memoria1 Picnic, Editor Cheryl Moreno, Assistant Editor Detta Andreana and Contributing Editor George Kehlhem were all credited for the effort. Newsletters reach not only club members, but are sent to local veterinarians and area pet related businesses and features many canine articles and upcoming club events. The club’s next orientation will be held on Oct. 10, with classes for that session starting up the week of Oct. 16. The club trains year around in obedience, agility, conformation & rally.
