Ballfield bathrooms are back

MILFORD — The bathrooms at Milford Borough's ballfield are back in operation after being out of service during the recent Easter egg hunt.
The borough's director of parks and recreation, Annette Haar, received a call from community members at the hunt. Parks superintendent Time Gardner, who was on hand, explained that the pipes burst during the winter because they had not been winterized or drained.
Haar said the Cal Ripkin Little League received a grant to build the bathrooms and in turn agreed to maintain, clean, and supply them, and to pay for repairs. She said the Little League leadership recently changed hands.
