Blooming Grove FD to hold German dinner

LORDS VALLEY — It’s Octoberfest time, but those who can’t make it to Munich can still have their fill of hearty German fare Sunday, Oct. 8, at the Blooming Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
From 1 to 5 p.m., patrons can enjoy an all-you-can-eat feast of sauerbraten, bratwurst, potato pancakes, red cabbage, green beans, spaezle, dinner rolls, hot and cold drinks and cake for desert.
For those who’d rather eat at home, there’s take out, complete with curbside delivery; hungry customers can call ahead or just pull into the parking lot, where someone will take their order.
Cost of the dinner is $13 for adults and $5 for children ages 4 to 10; children age 3 and under eat for free.
