BSR&B Attorney Austin DuBois to host radio show

GOSHEN — Blustein, Shapiro, Rich and Barone, LLP attorney Austin DuBois will host a weekly radio show on WTBQ (93.5 FM/1110 AM) beginning on Friday, July 10. The 30-minute broadcast, entitled "It’s The Law," will air at 10 a.m.

“I want to arm listeners with more, and better, information they can use to help plan for and navigate difficult situations, and avoid unforeseen pitfalls,” said DuBois, whose legal experience includes estate planning, elder law, asset protection, business formation, and business succession planning. “I’m excited to share what I’ve learned over my years of practice; I really believe that the only bad decision is an uninformed decision.”

"It’s The Law" will address a range of legal and financial issues that bear most directly on everyday people. Topics will include legal and financial considerations for home buyers and sellers, retirement planning, insuring long-term care, prenuptial agreements and divorce, and drinking and driving.

“We encourage engagement between our guests and our listeners so that others can benefit from the guidance that may be provided through the exchange,” DuBois said.

WTBQ broadcasts on 1110 AM and 93.5 FM in Orange County, part of Sullivan County, N.Y. and Northern New Jersey as well as Pike County. WTBQ streams live www.wtbq.com.

DuBois was named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in the field of elder law in, and named a “Top Attorney” for estate litigation in 2009 and 2010 by South Jersey Magazine. He also received the magazine’s “Awesome Attorney” award for estate litigation in 2010.

He is a member of the New York and Middletown bar associations, and has been admitted to the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania Bars, and before the U.S. District Court of New Jersey. He is a member of WealthCounsel, ElderCounsel, and the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council. He is a seventh-generation resident of Orange County and a graduate of SUNY Fredonia, Rutgers University School of Law, and Temple University Law School, where he received his Masters of Law in Taxation.
