MILFORD — Of the 12 Delaware Valley Career and Technical Education students who competed in the Pennsylvania State Skill Olympics, 10 earned medals.
“It was a great effort by a great group of kids," their adviser, Mike Dobrzyn, said.
All medalists received a $1,500 scholarship from Pennsylvania College of Technology to pursue their technical studies.
DV students won the following medals:
Career Pathway Showcase — Food and Agriculture earned a bronze medal for their efforts. The students in this team were: Jordan Cunningham, Brandon Plumley and Krista Cabany.
Painting and Decorating — Kimberly Koncelik earned a bronze medal in this individual event.
Occupational Health and Safety — Single Chapter won a silver medal with a team that included Sean Wagner, John Rivera and Richard Wardlaw.
Occupational Health and Safety — Multiple Chapter won a silver medal with team members Michael DaSilva, Dominick Divirgilio and Justin Tants.
