MILFORD — Dramatic readings of Charles Dickens' "The Christmas Carol" kick off a two-week holiday tour season at Grey Towers National Historic Site in Milford.

Now in its 32nd year, the reading will be performed this year by Joe Plummer Jr., founder and director of "Gotta Kid To Feed Productions," a digital media company, and Therese Plummer, an actor and award-winning voice-over artist living and working in New York City. Both are the children of Joe Plummer Sr. of Delaware, who performed the readings for the first 30 years and recently retired.

The readings are offered at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. every day from Monday, Dec. 9, through Saturday, Dec. 21.

Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased on line at www.greytowers.org, by calling 296-9625, in person at Grey Towers Monday through Friday, or by mail with a check to Grey Towers Heritage Association, P.O. Box 188, Milford, PA, 18337.

Because of the limited number of tickets, no reservations can be held without payment.

Grey Towers is located at 122 Old Owego Turnpike. Guided tours of all three floors of the mansion, decorated for the season by the US Forest Service and the Milford Garden Club, will be offered.
