College internships offered at Grey Towers

MILFORD — Applications currently are being accepted for a summer internship in gardening/horticulture at Grey Towers National Historic Site, Milford.
College students who are interested in parks and recreation, history, gardening and landscape architecture and forestry are encouraged to apply. Students can earn from $85 per week subsistence allowance to $2,500 for the 12-week season, depending on which internship they qualify for. Housing on the historic estate and uniforms may be provided.
Two gardening/horticulture opportunities are available for May through August. Each provides a valuable, practical experience for a motivated undergraduate college student who wants a hands-on experience to challenge and broaden the student’s knowledge of practical applications of horticultural theory learned in the classroom.
The deadline to apply is March 31.
