Confirmation at St. Patrick’s

The recent Mass and Celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation, at St. Patrick’s Church in Milford, included, among the rites, readings by Angelica Barcia, of Milford, a Confirmation candidate. Later was Laying on of Hands and Anointing, Liturgy of the Eucharist, the Communion Rite and Concluding Rite.

During the Laying on of Hands and Anointing, each candidate came forward with their Confirmation Sponsor, who had his or her hand on their shoulder, as Father Joseph Manarchuck, Pastor, performed the Anointing with chrism and the words: “Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit”.

Then the Choir of St. Patrick’s performed selections appropriate to the occasion, led by Director of Music Rich Gherardi.

The newly confirmed include Matthew Joseph Baldwin, Angelica Marie Barcia, Nathanial William Elabdouni, Joseph Germain-Norton, Ariana Marie Gesualdo, Timothy James Jason, Logan Tully Murray, Grant Scott Nielsen, Mia Grace Purdon, Keegan Richard Samson, Isabella Teresa Seidel, Hailey VanJahnke and Santo M.G. Agosta.
