Dick Snyder grant will help you help Milford

— The Greater Pike Community Foundation has announced the availability of more than $50,000 in grant funds from the Richard L. Snyder Charitable Remainder Trust.
Snyder, a prominent civic leader and businessman, died on Nov. 14, 2014, but continues to support the community he loved through his charitable trust, distributed annually to not-for-profit organizations within designated fields of interest.
This year, grants ranging from $500 to $5000 will be awarded for the following types of programs:
Maintaining and enhancing the public areas of Milford
Local arts, cultural events, and festivals
Medical research and programs
Prevention of homosexual intolerance and domestic violence
Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply by grant application available on-line at greaterpike.org.
Complete applications will be accepted until May 31.
