Disability advocate to meet with local residents

HAWLEY — Disability advocate Bob Fox of the Northeast Pennsylvania Center for Independent Living will be available by appointment at PA Senator Lisa Baker’s Hawley office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, to assist individuals with disabilities, age 18 and over.
Residents can consult with Fox about a range of available services, including attendant care, transportation, employment, skills training, peer counseling, home modification, and community integration.
To make an appointment call Baker’s office at 570-226-5960 by noon on Tuesday, April 11.
“Our CILs do a fantastic job providing support for people with all types of disabilities,” said Baker (R-20), who chairs the Senate Labor and Industry Committee. “I encourage those in need to meet with Mr. Fox to see how he might be of assistance.”
Baker’s district office is located at 2512 Route 6, just east of Hawley in the lower level, rear of the Lake Wallenpaupack Visitors Center.
