MILFORD — Students in Cassandra Zegarski’s morning Pre-K class are pictured with visiting volunteer firefighters during Fire Safety Week at Delaware Valley Elementary School.
These role models take time from their busy schedules to visit the school each year and discuss safety, demonstrate equipment, and take children through a "smoke-filled" smoke house to experience what it would be like should they be unfortunate enough to be in a fire.
