— Kindergartners were the stars of the school on Monday, when Delaware Valley started its school year.

Aaron Conklin, 5, had sister Julia Keller, 8, to lead the way on Day One. Their grandparents, who dropped them off, said they'd just moved from Port Jervis to Milford.

"I'm a little nervous," Aaron said.

Big sister Julia, who's going into third grade, nodded in agreement.

Ava Galini, 5, and her big brother Brendan Galini, 8, who's already in third grade, were dropped off by their dad.

"I'm quite happy to be here," said Ava.

"Maybe," Brendan added with a smile.

Dad interjected: "He likes school!"
