The Frisky Goat Coffeehouse in Milford donated proceeds from a 5K run to the Pike County Public Library. From January to March, the coffeehouse sponsored four events known as the 5K Winter Series that raised $250. Rebecca Henderons (pictured, right), owner of coffeehouse, donated the money to the library along with a matching donation. Library director Rose Chiocci (left) said, “We are very thankful for everyone at the Frisky Goat, and all the people who ran the race. We love all the community support for the library. The people at the Frisky Goat, and events like this, are very special to us.” Since it opened in October 2014, the Frisky Goat has sponsored numerous such events and has raised money for local charities, including the Ecumenical Food Pantry.
